Nithin Raj

Nithin Raj is an Indian playback singer. Born and raised in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, he has sung in various albums and films. Currently, Nithin is working as a radio jockey with Radio Mirchi, Thiruvananthapuram, where he hosts a four-hour evening drive show called Mirchi Fuse Out. He is also the lead singer of The Q8 Band.

Nithin has sung the backing harmonies for A.R. Rahman which include ‘Puthiya manidha’ (Endhiran), Raavan [Re-recording for Hindi and Tamil] and also in his album songs – ‘Semmozhiyaana Thamizh Mozhiyaam’ and ‘Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat’.

Nithin has sung various Malayalam movie songs which include ‘Jwaalamukhi’ and ‘Thathamma’ (Kurukshetra). He got his first solo song ‘Shapa soorya shobhayil’ which was the Theme song of the Mammootty starrer movie – Drona 2010. He sang the songs ‘Pampara Pa Pa’ and ‘Karuthiku Thithai’ from the 2013 hit Malayalam movie Amen .
