Erstwhile Billa II, Ajith Kumar had kept his fans so much on wait by having a release once in two years and very rarely in 12 months. Post-Arrambam, he completed changed his lanes of ideologies and decided to keep his fans entertained with more movies. It was a record to see that a leading A-league actor had managed to have two releases in just a span of 72 days (Arrambam and Veeram). He had teamed up with AM Rathnam for the second time in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal that has fared well in box office. The duo comes together again for the third time for an urban entertainer, directed by Siruthai Siva, who had earlier delivered a blockbuster hit ‘Veeram’ with Ajith Kumar.
While the pre-production works are happening at full swing, the female lead roles are likely to be played by Shruthi Haasan and Bindu Madhavi with Santhanam appearing in a full-fledged characterization.
The latest reports are that a major portion of this film would be shot in the busiest city of Kolkata and the first schedule will commence shortly as Ajith Kumar will spend some time with this family members and new arrival of his son as well.
