Anushka in Chennai, spills ‘Rudramadevi’ secretsPublished: October 3, 2015
Anushka Shetty was in Chennai today, to launch the collection of jewels she used in her upcoming film ‘Rudramadevi’, Perhaps for the first time in south India, real jewels worth Rs five crore were made for the movie.
The ornaments were displayed at NAC Jewellers’ T Nagar showroom. Speaking on the occasion, the actress said, “‘there is no big reference to the Kakatiya dynasty. It is very difficult to make these jewellery but NAC has done a wonderful job.”
“Jewellery is well-crafted and enhances the look of the queen in the movie. I must say I got interested in jewellery after acting in the movie,” she added.
NAC Jewellers managing director N Anantha Padmanabhan said they did a lot of research to make the jewels. “We are very excited to be associated with Rudhramadevi franchise as this gave us a wonderful opportunity to create a luxurious jewellery line-up.” Director Gunasekhar and others were present.
