Arulnithi done with ‘Aarathu Sinam’Published: January 14, 2016
Arulnithi, who had a decent outing in 2015 thanks to ‘Demonte Colony’, is full of hopes for 2016. He has completed shooting for his next venture ‘Aarathu Sinam’ in which he plays a tough police officer.
The film, a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Memories’, is being directed by Arivazhagan of ‘Eeram’ fame. “Post-production works are on in full swing and the film would hit the screens by March,” sources close to the unit said.
In the original, Prithviraj had played a drunk cop, who was investigating a series of murders. The film, besides setting the cash registers ringing, also received much critical acclaim.
“Arivazhagan has tweaked the script as per the taste of the Tamil audience. While the original knot has been retained, some unique flavour has been included into the story. So it won’t appear like a remake,” sources added.
