Arun Vijay shoots non-stop for 36 hoursPublished: April 22, 2016
For a stunt sequence in his upcoming film directed by Arivazhagan of ‘Eeram‘ fame, Arun Vijay has shot for 36 hours without any break. Besides Arun Vijay, other members of the team too worked hard to capturethe scene without any compromises.
Talking about it, the ‘Yennai Arindhaal‘ and ‘Thadayara Thaakka‘ actor says, “‘Yes, the situation required it. In fact we were geared up for much long duration, but thanks to the precise planning and subsequent deliveries from all sections of our unit we were able to pull off this magic within 36 hours.”
“It was an absolute ordeal I would say considering the fact that we had to brave the hot humid conditions as well as the drench that was all over the place. This no-break sequence had 400 people in the crew with five camera set-up. Since it’s a dump yard, all the safety measures including fire trucks were parked in the scene,” he adds.
Arun Vijay will be seen as a police officer in this film, which happens to be his maiden production venture too. His banner has been named ICE – In Cinemas Entertainment. Vishal Chandrasekhar is scoring music.
