Arya’s Shocking decision after PurampokkuPublished: June 1, 2015
Actor Arya was known to be one among the rarest actors in Tamil cinema to have made a bold move of being a part of several multi-starrer movies and he has been constantly appearing in guest roles as well. Nevertheless, he seems to have turned more disappointed with his recent release ‘Purampokku’ aka ‘Porambokku Engira Podhuvudamai’ that starred Arya alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Shaam in lead roles.
It seems that Arya actually had a lot of creative differences as filmmaker SP Jananathan had shot more scenes of Vijay Sethupathi without the knowledge of Arya and finally during the special screening was shocked. Moreover, Arya had insisted SP Jananathan to change the film’s climax and the director didn’t respond accordingly.
Henceforth, the actor has now decided that he would no more accept any offers of multi-starrer films and especially, guest appearances. He is now playing lead role alongside Krishna in Vishnuvardhan’s Yatchan and is playing a guest role in Vishnu Vishal’s Indru Netru Naalai as well. Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga will be his one and only single hero subject, which indeed has Santhanam performing a major role.
