Baasha denies GV, Okays Bruce LeePublished: July 28, 2015
Music director turned actor GV Prakash is on the fast run of acting in many movies and it looks like the producers down the Tamil film industry are considering him as the safest bet. He has got just a film released ‘Darling’ and already there are lots of projects lined up for this year.
While his long waited ‘Pencil’ is still remaining inside the cans, his other film ‘Trisha Illana Nayantara’ will be hitting screens shortly. He has now started working on his next film ‘Bruce Lee’, produced by Kenanya Films and is directed by Prashanth Pandiarajan, a former associate of National award winning filmmaker Pandiraj.
Initially, the makers wanted to name the film as Baasha Engira Antony, but regrettably, Sathya Jyothi Films that holds the title rights of original version ‘Baasha’ didn’t give them. Taking no worries, the producer instantly opted for the title ‘Bruce Lee’.
However, the film doesn’t carry any traits of Kung Fu or Martial Arts, but will be an out and out comedy caper laced with racy thrill elements.
