Ghibran creates ‘Khayal’ magic for Kamal’s PapanasamPublished: May 9, 2015
Music director Ghibran might have not been happy with his erstwhile projects as they didn’t strike gold in box office, but his songs were very well appraised in movies like ‘Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah’ and ‘Amara Kaaviyam’. Nevertheless, his fame shot to high glories with the film ‘Uttama Villain’ for his collaboration with Kamal Haasan with different genres had won him incredible reviews.
Now with this success, he has started working on his next album ‘Papanasam’, which happens to his third time collaboration with Kamal Haasan. A remake of blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Drishyam’ that starred Mohanlal and Meena in lead roles, Papanasam features Kamal Haasan-Gauthami in lead characters. Recently, Ghibran had recorded a beautiful song for this film with classical singer Hariharan crooning it, which is based on ‘Khayal’ genre. Much excited about this new experiment, Ghibran has said, “It was an immense pleasure working with Hariharan sir and we have recorded this track based on ‘Khayal’, which would be placed during the critical juncture of this film.”
