Helicam mishap on ‘2.0’ setsPublished: April 28, 2016
When the team of Superstar Rajinikanth‘s ‘2.0’, headed by director Shankar, was shooting the climax scene of the film at the Delhi stadium, a helicam fell to the ground from considerable height and broke into pieces.
“The whole team was shocked. But surprisingly, there was no damage to visuals, and in fact, the scene has come out very well,” sources close to the unit said.
Revealing more, the sources said that the team is now back in Chennai and will soon leave for abroad locations to can remaining sequences.
‘2.0’ has dialogues by veteran writer Jeyamohan, while Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar play key role. The movie is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions. Music is by A R Rahman, while cinematography, editing and art direction are handled by Nirav Shah, Anthony and T Muthuraj respectively.
