I don’t like films like ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara': AnandhiPublished: November 21, 2015
Anandhi, who has played the female lead in G V Prakash Kumar-starrer ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’, has regretted acting in the film. “I did not know that it was an adult subject,” said the ‘Kayal’ and ‘Chandi Veeran’ actress.
“If I was aware of the subject earlier, I wouldn’t have acted in it. I don’t like adult comedy films,” said Anandhi, whose upcoming movies are Vetrimaaran’s ‘Visaranai’, Kreshna starrer ‘Pandigai’ and another film titled ‘Faisal’.
“When director Adhik Ravichandran narrated the script to me, I was informed that it was a cute love story. Only towards the climax, I realised that something else was being made. But then, it was too late,” she added.
It may be recalled that Anandhi made similar allegations against the director during the release of the film. However, the filmmaker maintained that he did not do any wrong and everyone connected to the project was kept in loop.
