I will sure win Nadigar Sangam polls: SarathPublished: September 12, 2015
Sarath Kumar, the sitting president of South Indian Artistes Association, has said he would sure emerge winner in the October 18 elections to the Nadigar Sangam.
“We have the support of actors and our team will emerge triumphant. I hail from a traditional family and I am not afraid of trivial things,” Sarath, who is also the president of All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi, said.
When asked about the charges against him by Vishal’s team that he is trying to stop the elections, Sarath said in a satirical tone, “Yes, I was the reason behind the hurdles faced by Paayum Puli, I was the reason behind its failure too.”
Meanwhile, Sarath Kumar’s team has filed police complaint against actor J K Ritheesh, alleging that he is threatening actors to vote for Vishal’s team.
Polling will be held between 7 am and 5 pm at St Ebba’s School, Mylapore on October 18. Campaigning will shift to a hectic phase soon and names of actors contesting for various office-bearers posts will be announced by both teams.
