Is Chiranjeevi’s 150th film a remake of ‘Kaththi’?Published: October 3, 2015
The latest buzz in the neighbouring Tollywood is that megastar Chiranjeevi, who is aiming a strong comeback with his 150th film, would remake Vijay’s last year super hit film ‘Kaththi’.
If sources are to be believed, A R Murugadoss himself has tweaked the script as per the tastes of Telugu audience and the remake would be directed by V V Vinayak.
Interestingly, it was under the same combination Chiranjeevi had acted in ‘Tagore’, a remake of ‘Ramana’, more than a decade ago. Also, Murugadoss made a film titled ‘Stalin’ starring Chiranjeevi in the lead.
Meanwhile, the yet-to-be-titled 150th film of Chiranjeevi will be produced by the top star’s son Ram Charan, who himself is one of the young guns of Telugu cinema. An official announcement is expected soon.
