This has been officially confirmed by the makers of the movie to media houses in Bollywood (Mumbai). Following this, film critic Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter: “Why did Katappa kill Baahubali? We will get the answers only next year now [14 April 2017]. #Baahubali2 #EagerlyAwaited.”
Shooting for the movie is currently on in a massive set in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. “Stunt scenes between Rana Daggubati (Palval Thevan) and Prabhas (Baahubali) were shot recently. Gigantic swords were used,” sources said.
Directed by S S Rajamouli, the sequel too features Ramya Krishna, Anushka, Nasser, Sathyaraj and Tamannah in key roles. Music is by Maragadhamani. Plans are on to release the film in multiple languages across the world, thanks to the curiosity evoked by the first part.
