Jiiva, Hansika meet conservancy workersPublished: December 31, 2015
Jiiva and Hansika, who have come together for the first time for ‘Pokkiri Raja’, met conservancy workers who were involved in cleaning operations in Chennai recently and interacted with them.
They also met flood victims and volunteers and distributed a lot of releif material. Jiiva said, “it gives immense happiness to meet these people and to share something with them. Floods devastated everything and these people are rebuilding their lives.”
Directed by Ramkumar Rayappa of ‘Tamilukku Enn Ondrai Azhuthavum’ fame, ‘Pokkiri Raja’ has Sibiraj in a key role. Shooting for the movie is almost complete and it will hit the screens during the first quarter of 2016.
“It will be a fun-filled entertainer. At the same time, the film will also have an underlying social message. Hansika plays a young woman involved in social welfare activities,” the director said.
