While Brammanandam will accompany Kamal, who will return as Balram Naidu (a RAW agent in ‘Dasavatharam’) in the Tamil and Telugu versions, Saurabh Shukla will replace him in the Hindi version.
Speaking to reporters after the launch function at Nadigar Sangam premises at T Nagar in Chennai, Kamal said while his elder daughter Shruti Haasan will act alongside him in the movie, his younger daughter Akshara Haasan will be an assistant director (to Rajeev Kumar).
Kamal said he might not be able to vote in the Assembly elections on May 16, as he would be out of town. However, he urged his fan club members to exercise their franchise without fail.
Maestro Ilayaraja and others were present at the launch function, during which Subashkaran of Lyca Productions, who is co-producing the movie along with Rajkamal Films International, donated Rs one crore for Nadigar Sangam building.
