Glimpse upon the last two years of Kamal Haasan, he has been so much vigorously working on lots of projects. While his much awaited ‘Vishwaroopam II’ is still remaining inside cans, he managed to make a big budgeted film ‘Uttama Villain’ in a shorter span of time, which won critical acclaims. Much prior to this film’s release, he had completed shooting ‘Papanasam’, a remake of blockbuster Malayalam movie ‘Drishyam’, which is reported of being wrapped up in just 38 days. The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph himself, who made the original version in Malayalam starring Mohanlal and Meena in lead roles.

According to the close sources of Kamal Haasan, the film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu, but would be completed in a shorter span of time. Soon after this film, Kamal Haasan will be teaming up with an A-league filmmaker, which is reported to be Maniratnam, but the sources remain unavailable to comment on this.
