Lakshmy Ramakrishnan hits out at SivakarthikeyanPublished: January 18, 2016
Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, who recently took serious exception for the ‘misuse’ of her line ‘Ennama ippadi panreengalema…’, is at it again. This time, it all started with a television interview of Sivakarthikeyan, in which he said the line used in his recent flick ‘Rajini Murugan’ was inspired by a spoof by Ramar and team on ‘Siricha Pochu’.
This has irked the actress-filmmaker and she posted on her microblogging page: “.@Siva_Kartikeyan said on zee tamil chat the credit for ‘ennama’ song goes to the spoof not to the original! As if it is some great work?!”
And she added: “Spoof crossed the limits and hurt me so badly. You use it for commercial purpose and credit the people who mocked me?! If he gave credit to original I would claim rights & ask for money?! Don’t worry @Siva_Kartikeyan I have better things to do…”
Recently, as a couple of programmes were aired on Vijay TV by making fun of the line, Lakshmy came out with a strong statement and said she would file a case against the television channel, it may be recalled.
