Lens to be screened in CLAM International Film Festival.Published: April 21, 2016
Lens, an English- Tamil film directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan is set to be screened in CLAM International Solidary Film Festival under Official competition section in Catalan. The film festival will be held in Barcelona, Spain from 28/04/2016 to 08/05/2016.
Lens will be screened along with films from other countries like Belgium, Spain, Peru, Australia and Italy. Lens shares the pride in being the only Indian film entering the film festival.
Lens was screened at various film festivals across India. The film has already rendered the honour to its director, Jayaprakash, as ‘the best debutant director’ at the 19th Gollapudi Srinivas National Award 2015 and the best writer award at the Bioscope Global film festival, Delhi.
Lens is a hostage drama which is set in a digital world. The subject is socially relevant which portrays the society’s addiction to internet and its lust for voyeurism. The YouTube trailer has already set stimulating response from the viewers.
The response from critics and film buffs as well is amazing and the director of the film is delighted to grab a vent towards International platform. Lens will be soon released in India.
