Madhavan denies doing ‘Thani Oruvan’ remakePublished: October 23, 2015
Madhavan has refuted reports appeared in few sections of the media, claiming that he would replace Aravind Swamy as the villain in the Telugu remake of ‘Thani Oruvan’.
“I have not signed nor approved any other project in any language. Right now my life is only Saala Khadoos and Irrudhi Suttru,” posted the ‘Alaipayudhey’ and ‘Run’ actor on his Twitter page.
There was a buzz for the past few days that Tollywood top star Ram Charan would reprise the rolle made memorable by Jayam Ravi, while Madhavan would replace Aravind Swamy in the Telugu remake of ‘Thani Oruvan’.
‘Irudhi Suttru’ is an upcoming bilingual sport drama film written and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad. The film features Madhavan in the leading role as a boxing coach, and is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Hindi, under the title ‘Saala Khadoos’.
Both versions are produced by C V Kumar and S Sashikanth for Thirukumaran Entertainment and Y NOT Studios, while Varun Manian’s Radiance Media presents the Tamil version and Madhavan’s Tricolour Films and Rajkumar Hirani present the Hindi version respectively.
Featuring music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, the film has cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by Sathish Suriya.
