The most reputed music director of Indian industry – MS Viswanathan, aged 87 passed away this morning around 4.30 a.m. at a private hospital following his prolonged illness. The reigning music was undergoing a long treatment at Fortis Malar Hospital from a very long time. In spite of doctors giving the best treatment, he fell into coma last week and later recovered. But again, the sadness has struck the town with his demise this morning. His realms spread across various regional film industries, he holds a great importance for having composed music for 750 films. He made his debut with Sivaji Ganesan starrer ‘Panam’ that was released in 1952. He is well known for his collaboration with the friend composer – T.K. Ramamoorthy. They together have rendered music for 86 films in a span of just 10 years.
