Muni-3 heroine to surprise Arya in Bangalore Days remakePublished: February 19, 2015
Finally, director Bommarillu Bhaskar and producers of PVP Cinemas have managed to get the right star-cast for bilingual remake of Malayalam movie ‘Bangalore Days’, directed by Anjali. The original version was a splendid family entertainer that focused on the lives of three cousins who have enjoyed their lives together and they get again settled in Bangalore. Starring Dulquer Salman, Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, Isha Talwar and Parvathy Menon in lead roles, the film was very well received across the globe.
Now with the remake happening with Arya, Rana Daggubati, Sri Divya and Bobby Simha in lead characters, Nithya Menen will be playing a short cameo as Rana Daggubati’s girlfriend who had passed away in an accident and Sri Divya as his wife. Arya becomes the connecting dot in Rana’s past, present and future along with Bobby Simha.
Despite anything to contrary, others in the cast are yet to be confirmed. The shooting will start from March 20 and a major portion would be filmed in Chennai and Singapore. Nithya Menon is also playing one of the female lead roles in Raghava Lawrence’s Muni-3 Ganga, which stars Taapsee in another female lead and love interest of Raghava.
