Arun Vijay’s next is a bilingualPublished: December 30, 2015
Arun Vijay has become a bankable star in all four south Indian languages, so to speak. After his entry in Tollywood with Ram Charan’s ‘Bruce Lee’ and Kannada debut with Puneeth Rajkumar’s film, his next is going to be a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual.
And the big news is, the movie will be directed by Alphonse Putharen, who is now the most wanted filmmaker of Malayalam cinema, thanks to the blockbuster ‘Premam’. “Talks are on for the new project and things will be finalised soon,” sources said.
It is learnt that a leading star in Malayalam will also be part of the project. “This is to make the film attractive on business front in both Kollywood and Mollywood,” sources added.
In the meantime, attempts are on to release Arun Vijay’s ‘Vaa Deal’ soon. Tipped to be an action masala film, it is directed and written by Shiva Gnanam. It features Karthika Nair as the female lead. The film has music by S S Thaman.
