Rajamouli honoured at BusanPublished: October 6, 2015
Director S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ was screened at the Busan Film Festival in South Korea recently, and the audience, it is learnt, enjoyed watching the movie and appreciated the filmmaker a lot.
“Following this, the film is now being marketed to international audience and Rajamouli is busy with that,” sources said, adding: “This might result in slight delay of the film’s sequel, ‘Baahubali 2′.”
“Originally, the second part was scheduled to hit the screens by the middle of next year. However, it wll now be released only during November 2016 or even after that,” sources said.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah and Sathyaraj in key roles, ‘Baahubali The Beginning’ hit the screens a few months ago and declared as the biggest blockbuster of the year. The second part will have the answer to the much asked question— ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?’
