Rajini back in IndiaPublished: February 17, 2016
Superstar Rajinikanth, who left for Malaysia a couple of weeks ago to attend the final schedule shoot of ‘Kabali’, is now back in India. He returned to Chennai late on Monday midnight.
When reporters caught up the ‘thalaivar’ at the city airport, he expressed happiness about being confered with the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award, by the union government.
When asked whether the award was being presented late to him, Rajini said, “I don’t think so.” He also dismissed a charge that the central government is ignoring artistes from south India, especially Tamil Nadu.
When he was questioned about what was his opinion the fast approaching Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Rajini, whose political comments would always trigger a huge flutter, said, “I don’t think anything about it.” Later, he boarded in a car and left the airport.
