Rajini hospitalised, dischargedPublished: February 23, 2016
Superstar Rajinikanth was on Monday admitted to a private hospital at Manapakkam in Chennai, where doctors performed various tests on him. He was discharged later in the evening.
According to sources, since the ‘thalaivar’ was busy working on two projects (‘Kabali’ and ‘2.0’) simultaneously, he developed tiredness. Hence, the medical tests were conducted on him.
“Doctors were satisfied with the test reports and asked Rajini to take rest for a few days,” sources added. Now that the shoot of ‘Kabali’ is completed, he is expected to resume work on ‘2.0’ in a week or so.
While ‘Kabali’ is being directed by Pa Ranjith of ‘Madras’ fame and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, ‘2.0’, a sequel to ‘Enthiran’, is being helmed by Shankar and bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
‘Kabali’ will hit the screens this year and ‘2.0’ is slated to see the light of the day in 2017.
