Ever since Superstar Rajinikanth reached Malaysia for the shoot of ‘Kabali’, more and more interesting updates about his visit are trickling in India. The latest is that he met Governor of a Malaysian province.
The numero uno actor of Tamil cinema, accompanied by ‘Kabali’ producer Kalaipuli S Thanu and others, called on Melaka Governor Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil Bin Yaakob. “The Governor said he was happy that Rajini has come to Malaysia for film shoot,” sources said.
Superstar Rajinikanth commands huge fan following across the world and Malaysia is no different. Besides he has been getting warm reception from people.”Right from the moment he landed in the airport, Rajini is being showered by the love of fans. The media too is no different. He also had a brief chat with journalists at the airport,” sources said.
Meanwhile, a fire fighting scene was shot recently. “With the participation of over 200 junior artistes, it had Rajini saving them from the flames. A flashback sequence, it has taken shape well,” sources added.
The word is that the Malaysia schedule will go on till November 19, after which the team will return India. The entire shoot will be completed by January next year and plans are on to release the film for Tamil New Year. Music is being composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
