‘Rajini Murugan’ becomes ‘Raj Vishnu’Published: March 7, 2016
Sivakarthikeyan‘s super hit movie ‘Rajini Murugan’ is all set to be reamde in Kannada. Interestingly, Sharan and Chikkana, who played Sivakarthikeyan and Soori’s roles in the Kannada version of ‘Varudhapadatha Valibar Sangam’ respectively, will repeat the act in ‘Rajini Murugan’ remake too.
Sources said the film has been titled ‘Raj Vishnu’, bringing together the names of two top Sandalwood stars- Rajkumar and Vishnuvardhan. Shooting is expected to commence soon.
“Veteran actor and former minister Ambareesh has been approached to do Rajkiran’s role. Ramu, who produced Adyaksha, Kannada remake of ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’, will bankroll this flick too,” sources added.
In the meantime, Sivakarthikeyan-starrer ‘Maan Karate’, which has been remade in Telugu as ‘Tuntari’, will see the light of the day on March 11.
‘Rajini Murugan’, directed by Ponram and produced by Thirrupathi Brothers, featured music composed by D Imman. It hit the screens for Pongal this year.
