Rajini not involved, says Ashram SchoolPublished: January 30, 2016
Even as media reports said that Rajinikanth was in trouble over a land case of Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School, principal of the school has distanced the institution from the Superstar.
“While Mr Rajinikanth has no connection whatsoever with the Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School, the Joint Director (of school education department) had also marked a copy of the notice to him seeking his explanation without any justification. This was pointed out to the Honourable Court,” said principal Vandana Tugnai in a statement.
She said further; “The honourable high court disposed of the writ petition directing the Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School to appear before the Joint Director and place all the objections raised the course of arguments in the writ petition.”
“Unfortunately misleading press statements have appeared in today’s news papers as if the disposal of the writ petition with the above directors is a setback to Mr Rajinikanth and it is an embarrassment for him,” she added.
Vandana assured that the school will contest the notice on merits before the Joint Director and sort out the issues with proper facts and representations to pursue its good work.
