Rajini watches ‘Shivalinga’Published: February 19, 2016
Adding value to our report that Superstar Rajinikanth might remake Kannada movie ‘Shivalinga’, the top actor watched the P Vasu-directed film at a special screening in Chennai on Thursday evening.
“After watching the movie, Rajini hugged Vasu and congratulated for a great show. But he is non-commital about acting in its remake. May be he will make a decision in the coming days,” sources said.
In the past, P Vasu gave blockbusters such as ‘Panakkaran’, ‘Mannan’, ‘Uzhaippaali’ and ‘Chandramukhi’ in company of Rajini. “The director is planning to remake the film in Tamil with Rajini and in Telugu with Nagarjuna. Talks are on,” sources said.
A horror flick, ‘Shivalinga’ stars Shivarajkumar, Vedhika and Urvashi in key roles. The film released on 12 February. Vasu’s son Shakthi of ‘Thottal Poo Malarum’ and ‘Mahesh Saranya Matrum Palar’ fame has also played an important role in the film.
