S J Suryah to fight with Mahesh BabuPublished: March 24, 2016
Director A R Murugadoss is done with ‘Akira’, his Bollywood venture, and is gearing up for his next. It will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual to be made on a grand budget, starring Mahesh Babu in the lead.
We learn that Murugadoss has approached actor-director S J Suryah to play a key role, that of the villain, in the yet-untitled flick. And it is said Suryah would give his nod to be part of the project.
Already, Suryah is doing pivotal characters in Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Iraivi’ and Selvaraghavan’s ‘Nenjam Marappadhillai’, it is to be noted. In the meantime, he is also set to start his directorial venture ‘Kushi 2′, featuring top Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
“Suryah is a good friend of Mahesh Babu as both worked together in ‘Nani’ more than a decade ago,” sources said. ‘Nani’ is the Telugu remake of SJS’ Tamil hit ‘New’, in which he himself had played the lead role.
