Samantha, who has signed a challenging role in an upcoming Telugu film, is equipping herself for the character. For the past few months, she has been regular at a gym in Hyderabad, building her body.
And after lifting 20-40 kilos, she lifted 100 kilos recently. According to her trainer Kunal Gir, “it is called dead lift and she successfully pulled it off. She shows immense interest and never missed gym session.”
But Gir has a word of caution to those who might get inspired by Samantha. “This is not a regular exerice. This has to be done only once in a while that too with proper guidance.”
Meanwhile, back home in Kollywood, Samantha is eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Theri’, in which she has shared the screen space with Vijay for the second time (after ‘Kaththi’). She is also busy with Dhanush starrer ‘Vada Chennai’ directed by Vetrimaaran.
