Sanchita’s chase for ‘RUM’Published: March 31, 2016
For the first time in her acting career, Sanchita Shetty, the ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ girl, was part of an ‘adrenaline-pumping’ action sequence in her upcoming film ‘RUM’.
“It was actually a chase scene and I was asked to drive an SUV. I had the experience of driving ordinary cars. But for the first time, I was on the driver seat of SUV. Vivekh sir, Hrishikesh and others were also with me. They were cool, but I was tensed,” she says.
Introduced by Vijay Ragavendra of All win Pictures and helmed by debutant Sai Bharath, the movie has Anirudh’s cousin Hrishikesh, (who shot to fame playing Dhanush’s younger brother in ‘Velai Illa Pattadhaari’), Sanchita Shetty, Miya George and Amzath Khan in key roles.
Narain of ‘Pallikoodam’ and ‘Thambikottai’ fame also plays an important role. “I am really happy to be a part of this project, my first ever horror flick. Sharing screen space with a versatile actor like Vivekh sir is a real bliss and I’m privileged to get this opportunity,” he said recently.
