Sarath’s strong reaction to Nadigar Sangam complaintPublished: March 4, 2016
Unfazed by a police complaint against him by the Nadigar Sangam, its former president R Sarath Kumar appeared at Greater Chennai Police Commissioner’s office and offered his side of the story.
Speaking to reporters later, he said he has filed a petition with the police, in which he said that he has already submitted all the audited books of accounts and documents of the Sangam to the new administration and also given replies in letter to all the questions raised by the present administration.
Alleging that the latest complaint was a move to malign his image and to stop his growth, the All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi president sought the police to act against Nadigar Sangam member Poochi Murugan.
Meanwhile, coming to the support of her husband, Radhika Sarath Kumar posted on her microblogging page that the Nadigar Sangam Trust has never had any kind of income and it is ridiculous to state that the former President has swindled crores of funds from the Trust.
She also said that making such baseless allegations shows the immaturity of the new administrators of the Sangam.
