Shankar picks ‘Die Hard’ stuntman for ‘2.0’Published: February 19, 2016
Director Shankar is giving nothing but the best to his upcoming venture ‘2.0’ in each and every aspect. The latest update on this front is that- he has roped in Kenny Bates of ‘Die Hard’ and ‘Pearl Harbor’ fame to choreograph stunt sequences.
“The action scene by Kenny will soon be shot in Chennai at a specially erected set. Besides Hollywood stunt artistes, local experts will also be part of it,” sources said.
A sequel to ‘Enthiran’ (2010), the film will feature Superstar Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions, the film is expected to be the most expensive movie in Indian cinema, surpassing the ‘Baahubali’ series.
The soundtrack album will be composed by A R Rahman while the dialogues, cinematography, editing and art direction are handled by Jeyamohan, Nirav Shah, Anthony and T. Muthuraj respectively.
