The Sivakumars were among the firsts to donate to flood relief in these parts. Immediately after the first round of rains lashed Chennai, Suriya, Karthi and Sivakumar gave Rs 25 lakh to help the victims.
And now, Agaram Foundation, run by Suriya’s family, has organised a free medical camp at Ethiraj College in Egmore, Chennai.
The camp which started on Monday (December 7), will be on till December 11. A fully equipped medical team is offering check-up and treatment to victims between 9 am and 5 pm.
“Those who have been disease-struck can avail treatment at the camp. TT injections are available for everyone, especially the ones involved in relief work,” said a statement.
