Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja had acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah in lead characters. The film is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu with a whopping budget and was initially reported of hitting screens on May 15. With a sudden note, it was later informed that the release date has been postponed. It had naturally left the diehard fans of Prabhas in absolute disappointment.
But the fans in Tamil Nadu have a special delight and yes, on the same date, Suriya’s Masss directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja will be releasing. The dubbing works are close on the heels of completion and there is an official statement from the team that Masss will be hitting screens on May 15.
The film is a horror-fantasy with Nayanthara playing the female lead and Pranitha appearing as a vampire. The film also features Samuthirakani, Parthiepan, Jayaram, Karunaas, Premgi Amaran and many prominent actors in important roles.
