Surprise: PMK withdraws case against SimbuPublished: December 29, 2015
Call it the miracle of Sri Vazhakarutheeswarar (Lord Siva, known for protecting devotees from legal issues), in whose temple T Rajendhar offered prayers on Sunday, the PMK on Monday decided to withdraw a case it filed against Simbu for ‘Beep Song’.
When the petition filed by an office-bearer of the S Ramadoss-led party taken up for hearing by the Saidapet court, the decision to withdraw the case was informed. Since two other cases are pending against the actor-singer, the judge posted them to January.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Nadigar Sangam members are in touch with Simbu, asking him to seek an apology to put a full-stop to the issue. Talks are also on with Anirudh, it is said.
On Saturday, Nadigar Sangam president Nasser told reporters; “There is absolutely no question of
leaving Silambarasan in the lurch because he contested against us. There is no question of removing him from the Nadigar Sangam as well.”
