TFPC Vs FEFSI Problem Solved, Shootings From TomorrowPublished: July 30, 2015
Following a breakthrough in talks with Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) over wage revisions, the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) announced on Wednesday night that the strike was withdrawn.
In a statement, the TFPC said, “Except for the stunt union, we have concluded negotiations with other unions. We will be discussing the matter with the stunt union on Thursday.”
“Since an amicable solution has been arrived at with other groups, production and post-production work will resume from July 31, 2015,” it added.
The strike was going on from Monday after FEFSI allegedly announced wage revisions on its own, when talks were going on with TFPC.
