‘Thani Oruvan’ crosses Rs 75 crorePublished: October 16, 2015
‘Thani Oruvan’, which has been one of the most successful movies in Kollywood in 2015, has collected Rs 75 crore so far. “It is still going very strong and is heading for the 50th day,” says a statement from the film’s publicist.
Meanwhile, Shiv Nadar, founder and chairman of HCL Technologies Limited, along with R Srinivasan, founder and non-executive vice-chairman, Redington (India) and director, HCL Technologies, watched ‘Thani Oruvan’, at a special screening organised by producer Kalpathi S Aghoram in Chennai.
“Shiv Nadar was very impressed with the movie and expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Kalpathi Aghoram,” the release said. Aghoram was so happy to host Nadar and to receive his appreciation.
‘Thani Oruvan’ directed by Mohan Raja has Jayam Ravi, Aravind Swamy and Nayanthara in lead roles. Aghoram, known for his production ventures ‘Thiruttu Payale’, ‘Madarasapattinam’, ‘Maattrraan , ‘Santosh Subramaniam’ and ‘Anegan’, is also the vice-president of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.
