The Victory stride – Ajith KumarPublished: December 18, 2015
Success is never one that comes easy and it was the same for the MASS and CLASS actor of the current season- Ajth Kumar.
Starting off with En Veedu En Kanavar in 1990 as a school boy it took him three years to appear again on the silver screen. His first tamil lead film in 1993, Amaravathi brought him in some accolades but that wasn’t seriously enough to bring him in the spot light.
After several ups and downs through films like Vaali, Citizen, Red and Attahasam, he shot to fame on 2006 through his film Varalaru marking himself a space in the industry.
2007 saw the birth of a new era with Billa. With success in his pockets he got himself his magic touch through hard work, FAN strength and the new Villainous Hero trend. Mangatha marked the rise of the DON followed by Billa-2, Arrambam, Veeram, Yennai Arindhal and the current Vedhalam which has joined the elite 100 crore club and still hasn’t found itself out of the theatres.
His fearless appearance with the salt and pepper look is one that makes his Fans look in awe at their Thala (as they fondly call him) and he goes by the saying,
“Two always get better with age- Wine and Thala”
