Well, Vishal’s Naan Sigappu Manithan grabbed everyone’s interest for its intriguing theme of a sleeping phobia. Such a script and theme was something not seen anywhere in Indian cinema and the film too garnered good response in box office.
The film was directed by Thiru who made his debut directorial ‘Theeratha Villaiyaattu Pillai’, which was a romantic entertainer followed by ‘Samar’, an out and out mystery thriller following which NSM was a suspense-thriller. Having experimented with various genres, Thiru is back to offer something new again, this time with Chiyaan Vikram, which is now, titled ‘Garudu’.
