Every time Kamal Haasan makes a film, whether an unorthodox unconventional genre or the commercial ones, they always have ‘Emotions’ as the heart and soul. You could have easily witnessed such instances in his ‘Hey Ram’ that was critically acclaimed or the blockbuster commercial movie like ‘Vasool Raja MBBS’. Now things are going to be same with his forthcoming project ‘Uttama Villain’, which is produced by his home banner in collaboration with Thirrupathi Brothers.

The film is directed by close friend of Kamal Haasan and actor Ramesh Aravind. Speaking about the film, Kamal says, “Each and every film of mine would have some emotional impact and Uttama Villain is not going to be an exception.Uttama Villain is scheduled for release on April 10 and will have a grand release by Eros International simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The film has two different portions involving 8th Century and the present time, where an aspiring actor rises to the stardom, but what is his real identity – Uttaman (Honest man) or Villain.
