Vijay film in legal tanglePublished: September 23, 2015
Vijay movies getting caught in controversies is nothing new and his upcoming film ‘Puli‘, directed by Chimbu Devan, is no exception. It is learnt a court case has been filed against the much awaited movie.
Reports said director Anbu Rajashekar has filed a case in the Thanjavur Court asking for a stay on the release of ‘Puli’. Incidentally, Rajashekar was the one who went to court against the makers of ‘Kaththi’ last year,, alleging that the script was his.
As the issue is apparently yet to be settled, he has once again knocked the doors of the court, seeking remedy or a ban on the release of ‘Puli’.
This has come as a shocker to Vijay fans, at a time when attempts are being made to release the movie on October 1. Sridevi, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika have played key roles in ‘Puli’. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
