‘Visaranai’ delayed againPublished: January 11, 2016
At a time when the audience were looking forward for Vetrimaaran‘s ‘Visaranai‘ to hit the screens on January 29, theatrical release of the movie, which won accolades in global film festivals, has once again been delayed.
But there is nothing much to complain, as the release has been postponed by only a week. As per the latest decision, the film produced by Dhanush will see the light of the day on February 5.
“This is to ensure the movie hits maximum number of screens,” sources said. The film has been certified with U/A as the depiction of violence might be disturbing for children and requested parental guidance.
According to Vetrimaaran, ‘Visaranai‘ is for the matured audience and not for the faint hearted. An experimental thriller, it features Attakathi Dinesh, Anandhi and Aadukalam Murugadoss in the lead roles. The film was adapted from novel titled Lock up, written by M Chandra Kumar, an auto rickshaw driver in Coimbatore.
