What govt order says about ‘Thani Oruvan’?

Jayam Ravi-starrer ‘Thani Oruvan‘ has been granted tax exemption by the Tamil Nadu government, as the film was found to have adhered to “all rules and regulations” to get the waiver.

“A committee has watched the film and its members have recommended tax exemption to it. Accepting the recommendations, an order is being issued to grant tax waiver to ‘Thani Oruvan’,” says a government order in Tamil.

In the movie directed by his elder brother Mohan Raja, Jayam Ravi plays Mithran IPS, an officer with the organised crime wing. How he single handedly takes on Siddharth Abhimanyu (Aravind Swamy), a ruthless baddie, is the crux of ‘Thani Oruvan’.

Nayanthara plays the heroine of the flick, which has Ganesh Venkatraman and Thambi Ramaiah in key roles. Produced by AGS Entertainment, ‘Thani Oruvan’ has music by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi.
