Why Aishwarya avoided Anirudh for ‘Vai Raja Vai’?Published: April 25, 2015
Aishwarya Dhanush had her best credits with maiden directorial debut ‘Moonu’. The film had its global fame patently with ‘Kolaveri’ song, which created more sensation. Although it was bound to mixed reviews, the box office collections were tremendous.
It’s been three years and now Aishwarya Dhanush makes her comeback with second outing titled ‘Vai Raja Vai’, a film that would be completely different in all aspects from her debut. Yuvan Shankar Raja has delivered some commendable numbers from this album, but there has been a huge question on why Aishwarya avoided her cousin Anirudh for this film. On clarifying this, Aishwarya says, “My combination with Anirudh in ‘3’ was a Chartbuster and now it would have resulted in more responsibilities creating pressure. Moreover, Dhanush accompanied me throughout that film and now I had to make things independently alone. So I felt that Yuvan Shankar Raja who has been childhood friend would be doing justice to this film and of course, he made it happen.”
